Pravasa Vineyard & Winery is a passion project by renaissance man Purna Veer. After immigrating to the United States from India in 1997, Veer has truly been living the American Dream. He started a successful technology company that same year, then laid down roots in Kentucky in 2001 where he continued his business. As Veer came from a farming background in India, he quickly realized his dream to own and operate a farm in his new home. Thus, Veering Creek Farm was born and soon became Pravasa Vineyard & Winery.

The word Pravasa translated from Hindi means traveler or emigrant; someone who lives away from their homeland or the act of residing abroad. Pravasa perfectly encompasses Veer’s journey and his passion.
